National Leadership
Sean Corcoran
Sean Corcoran serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Men for Life, the world’s only consistently pro-life organization focused on the inclusion of men in human rights discussions, focused on the conversation of abortion.
Torn between a successful career as a Family Law Attorney and a desire to be fully present as the best father and husband possible, in 2022, Sean retired from the practice of law. Today he is creating a Blog and a Podcast on Fatherhood, and also is a Speaker on the topics of Fatherhood, Addiction and Recovery, and the Impact of Abortion on Fathers.
For his current projects and speaking engagements, Sean draws on his strong desire to learn to be better as a man, father, and husband, as well as his personal experiences in these areas.
As a 19-year-old young man, Sean’s life was forever changed when his first child was the victim of an abortion. He learned first-hand that fathers have no choice and no voice in the matter, and he was forced to stand idly by while his son was murdered before ever getting a chance to breathe, to speak, to live his life.
The impact of this abortion was a sense of deep loss, and also of being lost. Incapable at the time of processing and dealing with his grief, Sean failed out of multiple colleges multiple times and sought to fill the void and escape from the pain with anything he could find. This led to a 7-year addiction to methamphetamine, other drugs, and self-destructive behavior ultimately culminating in unemployment, homelessness, solitude and criminal behavior for which he was told to stay put and await the police.
By the grace of God, Sean instead found his way into a treatment center, where a long and intense recovery process began. Instead of being arrested, he was given the chance to make amends for his crimes. Instead of going back to the life he had been living, he was given the chance to go back to college, and then to law school, to start his own business, get married, become a father, adopt children whose mothers made the choice for life, and the journey continues today.
Sean Corcoran lives in Lake Charles with his wife, Dr. Michelle Corcoran, and their five young children, three of whom are adopted.
TJ Burgess
TJ Burgess serves as the President of the Board of Directors for Men for Life.
TJ founded Men for Life as the world’s only consistently pro-life organization advocating for men’s involvement in the abortion discussion.

TJ has worked with a network of pro-life missions professionally, including Americans United for Life and Louisiana Right to Life. In 2018, TJ launched Men for Life after seeing a social media post by NARAL Pro-Choice America advocating for active pro-abortion men, ironically on Father’s Day, a day meant for the celebration of life and parenthood.
In just a few short years, Men for Life has grown to be internationally acclaimed, and TJ speaks at press events, conferences, and rallies across the globe.
